The NewsHopper is a 17,000 + average circulation FREE newspaper featuring light news content and community events delivered via mail typically by Friday with a Saturday publication date.

Copies are mailed to homes and/or available for free pickup on counter-tops and racks in Aitkin and Crow Wing Counties in these areas:

Aitkin, Baxter, Brainerd, Cohasset Crosby, Crosslake, Deerwood, Emily, Garrison, Grand Rapids, Hill City, Ironton, Isle, Jacobson, McGregor, Malmo, Merrifield, Outing, Palisade, Pequot Lakes and Pine River.

Display advertising cost starts at $12.50 per column inch.

What is a Column Inch?

Each page of the NewsHopper is made up of six columns. If you wish to publish a black and white ad that is 1 column wide and 4 inches tall or 4 column inches. The cost would be $50.00 or 1 column wide x 4 inches tall x $12.50 per column inch = $50.00.

There are discounts for advertising frequency and size. Color is extra.
